The Statements are a W-M/T-W floor standing speaker project that I created with a great deal of help from Curt Campbell and Wayne Wendel. It's an open back/transmission line design on the mids. Here is a link: http://www.geocities.com/cc00541/index.html It has also been discussed at length on the HT Guide: (http://www.htguide.com/forum/showthread.php4?t=25932)
Enjoy! Jim |

Those look great. Now if only I could convince the wife that large speakers are a good thing....
What inductor did you use for the two Dayton woofers? A typical steel core, or one of the low re toroidals? Dan |

We used an Erse steel laminate inductor on the woofer circuit. That is the only spot I'll use anything but an aircore. However, a toroidal should work fine there too. I've built many speakers over the last few years and this is easily the most successful project. The sound quality way exceeded our expectations. Jim |
