Does anyone have access to specs on the Dali 606 drivers?
This is all the info written on the magnetlabel: Tweeter: D26TG-47-06 06 Ohm - 703 Bass/midrange: TC18BG08-12 12 Ohm - 707 The support isn't answering any time soon it seems..

The tweeter number sure looks like Vifa, TC18 is also used by Vifa.

Yes, I reckoned they were Vifa..
But I can't seem to find anything about them, so can any of you guys try? Tried searching around, but no luck.. So I was hoping you could give it a try!

They are likely OEM drivers made specifically for Dali -- only Tymphany & Dali will have the specs.

Almost all Dali drivers are OEM VIFA drivers, however the D26TG-47-06 tweeter is very similar to the D26TG-35-06 (http://www.tymphany.com/datasheet/printview.php?id=255)
The woofer I'm afraid doesn't have a directly comparable off-the-shelf version. |

Typical.. ^^
Is there anyone on this forum that's known for having a connection to Dali? I don't want to throw these away, cause I'd rather use them in a little DIY speaker.. I have two sets of 606, and one of them are a bit shabby, so I thought I'd make use of the drivers.. But it seems it's hard to get specs on them, so I don't know what to do...

Measure them then. You should anyway if you are making a decent job of the project even if you have manufacturer parameters.

The woofer should be close to this but with a higher impedance curve.
http://www.tymphany.com/datasheet/printview.php?id=290 In Oz we get a PAE 18WG08 which is basically a TC / BC driver. http://www.digitalmegahouse.com/peer...20speakers.htm |
