Default Sealed Orion ?

I am considering putting together a L/R system loosly based on the "Orion" driver complement. My thoughts are to activly bi-amp the speakers with an external crossover splitting the signal between the 2 10" woofers and use the passive "Seas Trym" X-O to run the mid/tweeter package. My thoughts on a cabinet design would lean towards something like the Meridians (see attatchment)

Would I be better served by the Peerless 10" drivers or a pair of AuraSound 10" ?

I think it would be best to not even think about this project as being related to the Orions because with the changes you've proposed, it isn't.

Hi,

I can't see the attachment.

But if we are discussing a sealed version of the Trym (not open baffle),
and a sealed/vented 2x10 bass box then then it makes some sense.

However the choice of drivers for the above is not particularly
sensible as the parameters are not the same as the Orion.

With more details better options could be suggested.

/sreten.
