Default HT speaker drivers!!

Hi all, im a newbie here

Recently we have started building a new house which incorporates a home theatre room.

To keep costs down i have decided to build my own speaker system (probably a 5.0, not including IB!) , i have done a weeks research so far and have a lot of information about many drivers, most of which i have found to be quite expensive!

I am mainly after suggestions for drivers which will work well together, but keep in mind we have never had a serious HT set up! As a matter of fact the speakers we have now are 20+ years old but do the job quite well, we have also been told they are decent speakers by our audio/visial repairer considering there age.

I realise crossovers, wiring and the like will be needed, but my brother is a 3rd year electrical engineer so they should be a breeze

My main needs will lean towards midrange and tweeters, maybe including some small woofers, as we have a 4 x 15" infinite Baffle (IB) planned for the room coming in from the ceiling

Any suggestions are welcome!! And i will greatly appreciate any help!

I am located in Adelaide, Australia just for the record!!

You should include a budget, room size and an idea of how large of enclosure you can tolerate.
