Its sounds very good considering the money I spent on these.
400 swedish kroner, almost same as 40 dollars. They are cheap 5 inch caraudio speakers, but they can realy play bass!!! The have a lot of output down to 50 hz, a bit to much at the moment, but with some dampening of the cavity behind the coaxial, and some wool in the vent i think they will sound very nice. The bass is very strong and dynamic. It sound a bit like a horn. They are built to serve as computerspeakers, but my girlfriend wants them in our kitchen. A good sign i suppose!

Do you have dimensions for the cabinet? I have a pair of Advent 5.25" full range car speakers that would probably work in your BVR. Thanks, NOXO.

Sounds like maybe the enclosure volume is a bit too low, causing a taller peak at the tuning frequency.
Anyway, I really wish car audio manufacturers would publish specs on their drivers . . . would make it alot easier to build decent enclosures for drivers that can be had locally. Kensai |

The outer dimentions are (Height x Width x Depth) 465 x 232 x 332 mm. Thickness is 16 mm in all walls. Inner width is 200 mm.
The port starts 200 x 10 mm and ends 200 x 100 mm. Its 500 mm long. The enclosure volyme is 12 liters. Enlargening it in Hornresp gives a lot more peas and stuff. You have all data in my picture of Hornresp. Johannes.
