I decided to go for Ariel after building a Clone and Hatt MKIII. The question I have, from looking at drawings is this: can I cut off top chamber, just above top mid-bass driver, and reduce height of the enclosure as it's not connected to any of the TLs, and it does not seem to be doing anything at all.
