Im going to build a pair of MLTLs that will use one of two Eminence drivers. I looked closely at both and modelled both and the results are almost the same. Both appear to be built with the same motor/frame etc, but one is a "bass guitar" driver and the other just a generic pro driver. The cost difference is about $20 each, with the cheaper guitar version using a hemp cone.
Anyone use either of these or have some suggestions? I wont cross them any higher than 800hz. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=290-591 http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=290-516 amt |

You might want to simulate this one
One of your drivers shows a very nasty rise in FR which is visuable in impedanse curve, and the other driver with hemp cone is almost the same the Legend B102 shows a much nicer impedanse curve http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...95&ctab=2#Tabs |
