Default Stereo open baffle

Has anyone ever tried putting both channels on one wide open baffle? Am I right that the cutoff frequency would be the same as if it was one driver on that baffle? Would locating the drivers closer to the edge be a problem? What other implications am I missing?
Thanks,
Pete

Wouldn't it basically be another wall at the end of your room with some drivers in it by the time it is big enough for decent stereo separation?

I suppose you're right, though maybe in a small room nearfield it might work. Or, maybe I should just go mono for this setup!?!

What about an in wall system? A pair of long ribbons like the B&G RD series (AKA Radia) and a couple of 12" or 15" woofers in boxes hidden in the corners of the room. Xover around 200Hz.
