Default Hi-Vi SP10 woofer

has anyone had any experience with this driver in a sub box? i am getting very flat response cuves down to almost 20hz in a reasonably small box with Winisd but am not sure about the long Xmas(15.5mm). i remember reading somewhere that long Xmas has a negative side effect but can't remember what it is. i would like to see how they sound but their price is a bit high for my 'build it for the heck of it' budget.
