I want to build a new pair of speakers and I think I'd like to try out bi-amping them. I was also thinking that instead of using standard active crossovers that I'd build an equalizer that's split into high and low frequency outputs so that I'd be able to crossover and equalize the signal in a single stage. I've been looking for a good equalizer design that I could adapt, but all the designs I've been able to find were designed with the intent to be as cheap as possible for home studio use. Does anyone know of a really high-quality, low distortion equalizer design?

go to this webite,
http://mysite.verizon.net/vze3xvxs/audio/ and also go to market place on this forum, group buy and under active filter gainclone. The design is from Rasmussen. I have the gerber file for his design, and will proceed with the manufcture if enough interest in a group buy. A small run is too expensive in Australia, if you can do it where you are I am interested. At least 2-4 boards. contact me if you want to proceed. |
