Hi all!!
I have a question about wall mounting speakers at an angle (~30deg.). I've attached a pic with some dimensions of my living room and the entertainment unit with my proposed speaker setup. This is meant for music and HT until I can get my basement setup properly. -on the wall would be something similar to Zaph's Aura design (maybe a bit bigger) -directly underneath a stereo subwoofer setup -and/or maybe elsewhere a real big sub What I'm wondering about is the interaction of the wall mounted speaker and the wall? I searched and couldn't find anything relevant. |

Hi,
Twin (mono) subs ~1/3 along each wall would probably work well. I would use Zaph design as its specifically for wall mounting. Later on (in the basement) you can transfer them to the rear. |

thanks,sreten.
though what I'm really wondering about is how the speaker and wall will interact at a ~30deg angle. Would you still need bsc? How will reflections affect the sound? And if I build Zaph's design, the speaker would be facing the wrong way, no?...unless changing the angle of the box is irrelevant.) Plus while Zaph's design is neat, I don't want to order $10 of tweeter and pay $20 shipping

Hi, I was assuming you would use the normal left speaker on the right and vice versa, |
