Default t-line primarily to absorb backwave ?

I am putting togeather a standmount TMM that uses 2 Peerless (formerly Vifa) XG woofers and I want to build a short T-line enclosure with the goal of damping out the backwave. I am not looking to extend low response as I will be crossing over to a woofer box around 125hz with 2nd order slope.

I don't know if there would be an minimum or optimum length to such a T-line, but I will be trying to stuff the line heavily.

What fequency should I target for quarterwave length? Or should I be thinking 1/8 wave?

Hi. I like to think the best TL speaker eat the backwave by letting it disperse like ripples on a pool of water. With that said, that takes quite a big box. Heavy stuffing in a smaller box is not the same thing, or at least it doesn't sound the same to me.
In your situation, I'd tune the line for your cutoff freq. and lightly stuff it.
