For my line array I'm thinking of using some asian screen panels. As a way of preserving the surface I was thinking of laminating it with a thin layer of fiberglass (like you might find on a wood bow). Is there a recomended clear adhesive for this?

Hi,
Not really a recommendation, but I've seen fibreglass suppliers list a resin that's suitable for making paper weights ( 1/2 spheres of clear resin with an object inside to give interest. It sets clear so may be good for your cause. Rob. UK company that stocks it: http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/acatalog/CFS...Resin_102.html |

Thanks Rob, looks like that just might work.
I have zero experience with casting fiberglass. It seems like I may just be able to put the panels flat, raise a little wall around the edge, and pour the stuff on. Has anyone actually used this stuff? |

what you're looking for is casting resin. This is also used to make fancy table tops with objects embedded.
