Default Switching crossover settings

The miniDSP chip has the ability to store more than one set of crossover settings.

Can a change to another, pre-existing setting be made *without the software, ie "on the fly"?

Might this be a development or option?

Hi otto88, depends on which unit you mean. The platforms like 2x8, nanoDIGI, nanoAVR have switching between configs with a remote. However I don't think there is a way to do this with the original 2-in 4-out platform.

Hi John
I'm probably going for the miniDSP 4x10 Hd (While 70% is from a PC, I also have some inputs that are analog)
With that, can you switch on the fly, ie without switching off the power amps?
I hadn't heard of a remote - is it 3rd party ~ what's it called?
Cheers!

Hi Otto, the remote functionality is provided by the DIGI-FP front panel module, AFAIK, it can be "trained" to learn remote codes, pse see online manuals.
