Question on Balanced minidsp 2x4

What I would like to do:
1. Use a Minidsp 2x4 as single ended in and out for used as a woofer x-over and equalization.

2. In the near future convert over to Digital Input and Balanced output with the same woofer equalization.

My question:
1. Can the balanced 2x4 be used as signal ended device.
2. When I convert to digital input, I will require the minidigi.
3. What is the best plug-in for the woofer x-over and eq ?

yes, miniDIGI works fine with 2x4

I would recommend 2.1 advanced plugin
