MiniDC but no 3 sec Delay

Hello.

I am using the MiniDC to trigger a Relay in my amp.

That works fine but there is no 3 sec Delay and I still get my amp pop. YAY

I have 12v into the MiniDC, A jumper from REM-IN to the 12v input. REM-OUT running with earth piggybacked from the 12v input.

Everything works sounds wise but the Delay.

Has anybody had a similar issue with their miniDC or have I wired it incorrectly?

Does somebody want to share how they wired there's?
