Nearly there
![]() I was not so clear and correct. What I an asking is: If I add a miniDigi board to a 2x8 - can I use the input source selection decriebed in the miniDigi manual section 1.2 (the drawing with the switch on the J11 jumper)? Thanks in advance. Peter |

Peter, answer is no. You can't use it.

Hi,
after thinking and soldering and connecting and reconnecting etc for a while i found this last post ... possibly you wish to add a comment in the miniDigi manual that the analog/digital toggle dies not work on the 2x8. Best Christian

Good point. We'll make sure to put a note somewhere in the miniDIGI user manual.
Thanks for your feedback. DevTeam

An analog/digital configuration with the 2x8 is exactly what I need. I wanted to use the 2x8 as a crossover for my diy 3way speakers with 2 sources,1 digital from my audio pc using the minidigi and 1 analog, the preouts of my av receiver for home cinema.I thought toggling between the sources would be possible... |

it is possible, you just have to go another way (disconnecting and/or muting the unused inputs) ... a few relays or a multi-pole rotary switch should do the trick. I will use a microcontroller-based solution but still have to modify it in order to switch between a and d

same goes for me ... 6 ICEpower amps ready to play but still the surroundings of the miniDSP are missing ... apart from that I still struggle with switch-off-bumps of the minidsp ... I'd like to avoid the effort of analogue volume control (which would solve thge problem of the bumps) ...

Are you using any sort of input buffer for the ICE modules?Seems there is an issue with rising input impedance of the modules as the frequency goes up.
Forgot to mention...I'm talking about 125ASX2 modules.Which ones do you have? |
