I doubt Mark uses a cabinet to test drive units; testing is usually done in anechoic chambers with an IEC standard test baffle. If he's listening to any at home (I doubt he's at work yet since he's only been out of hospital for a couple of weeks & this isn't something you recover from overnight), I would imagine they'll either be in small standmount bass reflex or sealed boxes, or possibly a pair of pensils.

I've got some other stuff going on and believe it or not, I've not gotten around to spinning any vinyl on these puppies yet. Maybe it's time to lend another pair of ears to these while I'm off on a Caribbean cruise?

Jeff - interested?

Size an price. The MAOP's mechanically perform similar to standard drivers. The essential difference is the emittance pattern. Its worth doing a search on the forum for MAOP as there's a number of posts on this aspect of its performance.

Thx
Mark.
