Question re: Arrestors

I have four of early production Alpair 7.3 in grey color. I've decided I want to try to make something akin to a Jordan array with 4 drivers per side, in a vertical array, driver centers as close to each other as I can get them.

I can get four more Alpair 7.3, but they would be the "A" variety, with arrestors installed. Will these have substantially different performance than the older, non-A drivers? Let's say I made a cab with one of the non-A drivers and the other cab in the stereo pair was made with an A driver. Would I be able to tell the difference between the two?

thanks

Just like to say that i think this is a great idea, and another positive i can think of is the people making speakers with your drivers and selling them on. My friends have been interested in me making them some speakers same same as my TL i did with your alpair 7's, but i was put off by them not knowing when too much is too much, and would just end up breaking them. This helps a lot in that sense. It's not that it is a bad thing for previous drivers. The complete opposite in fact. People's standardized views of just more and more power.
