I almost included his initials in the last post, but not all might have appreciated the "humor"

This deal won't last forever...took the plunge and added another pair of A 10.2s to the collection! lol Couldn't pass that up!

I finally have mine playing. I built a pair of Jim Griffin's MLTLs. Unfinished for now. I have them broken in up through the "2nd phase." I had them playing at a very low volume for a few days then bumped them up a bit more for 4 or 5 days. I'll be putting a little more power to them for a few days, then increase a bit more for a few more days. I'm not a big "rocker" so I'm not looking for ear shattering volume. I like speakers loud enough to "come alive." After that, it gets uncomfortable and I want to keep what I have left of my hearing.
I found out the hard way that when the cut out holes are cut in the baffle, they must be pretty close to an EXACT fit. The way the frame is designed and I notched out for the spokes, I didn't leave enough room for the screws to grab. I cut an insert and installed it. It works well. I'll just have to be a little creative to get them flush mounted. I already know what I'll do. I'm hoping it will actually add some more character to the cabinets.
Anyway, I'm playing mine now, listening to some Van Morrison. I'm anxious to play them enough in this enclosure to decide if I like them as they are.
Mike

Yup, it won't last forever. It didn't even last until today. "Out of stock" is the message on the Madisound site. I guess those of us who bought a pair can be happy with the deal!

Now if I just had a little time to build some cabinets....

Damn...I was going to get a couple more pairs! That was THE best deal in audio anywhere!
