Hi Chaps,
Apologies for the late update. I'm flat out dealing with and working on several new projects destined for Japan. This includes the new MAOP 7, Serial numbers 0002 to 0025 are being built next week. The MAOP gained allot of interest at the Tokyo shows so I'm having to follow up on this activity.

There was allot of discussion at the show for an "Alpair 8". Its going to be an interesting driver with hopefully new radical design features. I've already penned the cone. But its likely a year away from production as the design will require allot of work. There's increasing demand in Japan for me to further extend LF performance. Alpair 10 sales in Japan have tripled since the MJ magazine and Matsumoto research reviews.

There's also some new box projects being worked on in Shenzhen, I'll try to post some info as it maybe of interest.

Cheers
Mark.

Mark,

Goal of Alpair 8 - Alpair 7.3 like mid+highs with greater dynamics and LF?

sounds like we've got many months to kibitz on what the 8 could/should be - I'm sure Mark will enjoy that ride as much as the forum members

too soon to start our wish list for X-mas '13?

I'll start with:

- paper option please.

paper cones enter break up modes more gently and behave differently - perhaps less accurate but kinder - at least that seems to be my impressions with such things

Bigun's probably right , but frankly I dunno, don't really care - why ask why?, I ask - is that too iconoclastic?

I also don't much care for the few plastic or woven fibre driver's I've heard.

NB - note the time stamp of this post - I'm currently operating on about 8hrs sleep over the past 2 days
