Best floorstanding plan for Alpair 10.2 ? - Page 6

Chris,

Although I'm running-in them at low volume now, I notice the Alpair 10.2 sound quite nice.

They are an even more satisfying driver after a couple hundred hours.
Mine have opened up and are noticeably more detailed, and with better bass
than I heard at first.

Right, after a couple of hundred hours of running per the requirements, the suspension in within the designed operating window. Although my Alpair 10s (Gen1, 2 & MAOP) all sounded pretty good straight out of the box.

I've took away all the foam and filled with required Polyfil. Just want to know, how to adjust? Taking out 40 screws from the back is painful.

And this is why I love my DeWalt 12v drill/driver. I hardly ever reach for a screwdriver except to open a can of paint.

I found this as well with my Pencil 7.3. All depends on your own ears.

My Pencil 10.2 is not done so accurate in dimensions and those polyfills may vary from spec.
