the italians think they drive fast enough not to worry about blindspots - on many italian cars in the 70s the door mirrors were optional extras (Alfa)

Love Gandini's work tho, especially the Miura - his trademark on most of his cars is that odd shaped rear wheel arch - seen here http://www.hkcarworld.com/sites/defa...lo_gandini.jpg

back to speakers, I hope that 3db is enough, I'm thinking most people find a full 6dB BSC too much?
I want to have a certain balance to the sound and not overpower the treble on the alpairs- I'll pad the 10P's at the back anyway, so the output will be reduced slightly, plus the 10% slant on the baffle will tame them a bit

The 10P's have a 50 ohm spike at Fs, which starts to rise south of 200hz.
With a first order at 300-350hz, I hope I can get away with it

That makes a big difference. Typically you want 3-6 dB and XO at or just below the baffle step.

I ended up shelling out on four Satori's to go with the Alpairs; I hope a 1st order x/o is possible.

Should make for a rock solid combo. I'll be watching closely!
