hi everyone
little update
I have taken the measurments of the alpair 12p. Ive attached the measurments.
They show me basically a problem from 150hz to 600hz. Ive apply EQ (using Electri-Q) in the problematic area and those speaker have come to life. The sound is much more balanced and the presentation have much more presence du to the upper bass and lower midrange EQ. I recommend everyone who has build those speakers to add around 3 db at 150hz, 3 db at 300 and 500hz, or something like that, the presentation is much more involving.

Very interesting, thanks for taking the time to take and post measurements. But, could any of these issues be linked to your room response?

The room dominates < 300Hz, so YMMV as always.

Sometimes even less than a foot of change of placement, particularly in regard to all boundaries, can make substantial differences in both measured and perceived response at listening locations.

As Scott says, the room dominates, and while acoustic treatments are certainly available to tame / smooth bass response, they can often occupy far more space than is acceptable when WAF constraints apply.

Dear Scott,

Could you please look in the other thread " Pensil and superpensil for A12.2 P " for a minute to help me out regarding cabinet stuffing?

Thank you very much

the measurments were taken around hallf meter away from the drivers, i doubt the room is having a effect. ive taken several measurments and close mic'ed, the response is really similar... the measurments taken at listening position is really different, but the one iv attached is closed mic.
i think the measurments look quite nice, and by applying a bit of eq at 150 hz, 300hz, 500 hz, sound is better.
