Just ordered a set of Alpair 12P (Madisound USA)

Ordered mine a couple of days ago. After this i will have heard one iteration of all the major drivers. We will see where they all stand in the end.

now we builders just need to find something to distract us during the first 200 hrs oa break-in before populating the drivers into enclosures

Measuring them as we speak to sort into pairs. I think Chris has Jeff's SP12,2p flat-pak completed or near.

ya know of course it takes longer to cut and dry fit all the parts for a flat-pak like this than to actually build and possibly even veneer a pair (it's all those damned holes in the interlocking braces!)

what, and miss out on the enjoyment of DI his-self?

this is really an exercise for me in converting a drawing into a easy to build kit - the first prototype is generally the most time consuming - and I can always use the practice
