Hi Fellas,
We might be sailing close to this forum rule:

5 - Posting or linking to pornography, illegal download sites, or illegal software.

Don't want to spoil the fun but maybe best to ease back on these type of pic. I'll give it a few more hours for you all to take a gooooood look, then (sadly) have to press the delete button.

Cheers
Mark.

Solid Bamboo? I wonder if it has the same expansion/contraction issues as solid wood.
Any opinions?

A quick search indicates that bamboo is much more stable than hardwood.

I haven't seen 20mm bamboo flooring. What ever you call it the cross section looks like five ply's of sheets composed of long inch and something wide strips, so i suppose you could say engineered. Nothing like a solid 20mm thick hardwood board.

sorry, that was a play on words for the name of a loudspeaker design by one of our regular contributors - i.e. "Beltane" - ancient Gaelic fire festival - traditionally celebrated April 30 - May 1 or so( depending on your google-search)

re laminated bamboo "ply"wood - this actually can vary quite a bit in thickness and composition - I've personally used only the 3/4" block core laminated materials - bamboo flooring available hereabouts tends to be mostly an engineered product with less bamboo and more veneer / MDF/PB substrate.
