Hi Jeff,
Yup, technically, its the nicest paper we've got. Can only be this colour as its part of the stiffening section of the production process.

Cheers

I'm really happy with my Alpair 10,2 's but i'd love to hear those paper cone drivers.
(Maybe in some type of Mar-Ken box, Dave??!!)

Chris probably holds the world record when it comes to Kens - experience, variety, number, technique... he's got it all.

And for a Ken-Master (I am registering this term ), a pair of big, bulky Super Pensils shouldn't be that hard!

And with the Victor's out of Dave's space, the Pensil's should have a place. So we look forward to both.

What i'm listening to now (with FE166eSReN). Bernie is picking them up tomorrow to do sometweaks to them.

µFonken will bridge the gap until i get Mar-Kel70wT + woof-wT (with EL166)... just have to install drivers & rig the electronics.

Mark,

I understand your concern here, but the rabbet depth and thickness of standard sheet stock are at odds. I did the proper rabbet for A10.2's into 18mm BB and did not have enough material to hold the screws. I feel forced to use 24mm material and cut a 45* chamfer relieve on the back side.

I dunno, I heard a rumour that this chris guy might be getting a bit burnt out* and will start being a bit more selective about which enclosures to build (which also means lifting and moving them) - time for a real craftsman with a good back like Bernie to step into the crossfire

*if he had $1 for every pair of Dave's designs he didn't build, that'd be a lot of dollars
