yes i'm but these ain't for me. actually i have much bigger speakers in my room, and not one but two pairs

hedlunds have rather small footprints and can go into corners. in reality they don't occupy more space than a back ported floorstander....

Cheers

of course, you can predict the questions re "frame colors" ? might wanna nip that in the bud right now

I assume it's just the extra bezel ring that's a different color?

Hi Chris (guys),
Yes, there's a matching bezel colour that Evan and Jeff san were evaluating. There's a high-enb show coming up in München, Germany at the start of May, so sometimes we produce specials for such events.

I like keep guys informed on some of the interesting stuff that goes on in our factory. I only wish I had more time to capture these snapshots for Diyers.

Cheers
Mark.

A white bezel, together with the white cone would look good on lighter coloured wood finishes.

A stainless steel bezel could be nice as well, very high tech in looks.

Meanwhile I am evaluating cabinet building options here in my apartment before taking the plunge.

From picture 3 i'd guess the light cone is A6.2p blue, ad picture 2 is an artifact of the lighting?

Hi Guys,
Yes, the Alp12P uses the same paper family as the 6P, colour blue/grey is 95% same. A note on bezels, they will be fixed on the 12P as the power-train alignment is super critical. We need to attain max. rigidity on the frame. 99% likely the black bezel will be fitted to stock drivers unless there's a large vote for the matching colour.

My apologies to guys who recess the drivers. I realise its a challenge to make a thinner recess, but its VERY important on this driver to keep potential baffle cut-out side wall wave reflection down to a minimum. There's allot of rear facing open cone area that won't like reflective wave energy hitting it.

Cheers
Mark.
