Cool No - not at all...

Hi all.

No, they are not metallic - I have much High Definition files - Flac 24, Wave 24 and some from BlueCoast are so beatiful that you can see the whole band in my livingroom. And good 16 bits wave are nearly as good.
But if the recording on some records are energetic in the higher frequensies - they sure are displayed on my ClassD Amp - even if this a very good amp. Will be nice to test my Alp10.2 on my new SIT-like amp in a week or two. (my build is the LŔmp which is a smaller copy of the SIT to Nelson Pass). And it is said that we need a speaker with SPL of more than 90 db.
But my Alp10.2 will surely keep up(but will want som paper past 90 db - Alp12P to test!!!!)
Agree??

Best

Olav

Default back on topic

it looks like we're only a few days away now from public demonstration of new A12.2P in one of Kurt's designs
Click the image to open in full size.

at the Munich High-end show

it'll be interesting to see how folks reconcile the published specs to how they actually sound

with any luck more of us will be able to play with them soon - in a variety of enclosure designs

What's a CCAW coil? Why would this type of coil give less controlled impedance over other types of coils?

Ahhh, thank you. And this kind of wire causes higher inductance or something?

This driver is very interesting. Congrats Mark.
