So...I'm excused from speaker building stuff for awhile?

Y'all understand, don't you?

Default A12 DBR suitability for the new A12P

A question for Scottmoose (not to confuse with anyone else )

Any chance of the A12P working in the old A12 DBR cab with some stuffing rearrangement?

Dunno. Possibly, I'll have to check when I get chance. Don't hold your breath though; I'm having to manage my time fairly carefully at the moment (viz. I don't have a heck of a lot of it. ) I seem to recall checking a while back & suspecting the design would need reworking, but don't hold me to that either. My mind is full of armour protective schemes at the moment rather than audio.

Scott,

Armour is heavy, loading and unloading is mighty laborious I'm in no hurry at all - the cabs and drivers are both with me. The A12P need another 150 hours of break-in and that is not going to happen automatically.

Take care.

Just had a quick look before I go to bed. It won't go in the existing box. Didn't think it would; a new design will be needed. I'll do one when I get chance, although as the original wasn't popular, it won't be at the top of the list.

Scott,

Given the last version was not popular, would it be wise to put in the effort? For myself, if I decide to go for a bookshelf, shall go for the compact BR box you designed for Coiln - the dimensions are both WAF and room friendly.
