Perhaps I am calculating the wavelength incorrectly. I was under the impression that the wavelength at 350hZ is 1 meter. THis would make the 1/4 wave 8-9 inches long, correct? That is pretty close together.

OK. 10" center to center is not a lot when dealing with 4" FR and 8" woofer or do i just have to worry about edge to edge?

Centre-to-centre.
Ideal is < 1/4 wl. the traditional MTM guys are happy if they get 1 w/l. wl = c/f dave
