Hi Jazzkido,
Congratulations for your project.
Where Can I find the plans for this cabinet? Thank you

Does the same cabinet work for both the A10 and A10.2? Is a different amount of stuffing required to compensate for the driver differences?

Abelma - Please see Dave's link, that is the plan I used. I changed the vent to a slot vent. Just make the slot vent the same volume as Jim's vent.

Silverhairbp - I think this current plan will work for both A10 and A10.2. But you best check with Jim or Dave on this.

Dave, Jim, Mark - Thanks! I am really getting to love these cabinets and drivers now that I have fine tuned the damping, vent size, and spikes. The sound has really opened up once I had the combination right.

Thanks Jazz and Dave.
I have the intention to start in the near future an Alpair7 also, so, I asked Jim if there is something from his design.
Waiting for the confirmation if the 10.2 will work with this design. Thx !

Not volume. Same cross-section and same length

Same box suitable for both. A10.2 is.IMO, a big step up from the original.

Dear Dave, Thanks for the information on the vent. May be that is why I am not getting really good bass extension. Have to go back and modify the vent! Thank you. Michael

Bump. Has anyone else built this speaker? It's still a very interesting design for me very nice ingredients: Solid Alpair driver, No x/o, Solid designer, MLTL, High WAF

Thumbs up!

I still have my prototypes (currently with A10.2 drivers but originally with A10). Others have constructed this design and report success. You'll be pleased with the results.
