Hi Guys,
As you know I'm busssssssy making drivers. So here's a pic of the new CHP-70 (hot off the assembly line). Two colours available, Natural and Black. Will be posting more info, data and detail in the coming days. Cheers Mark. Last edited by markaudio; 26th May 2011 at 03:22 AM. |

Ooh! I really like the look of the black ones! I know others will ask that know more than I but since I'm the first one to respond, what are the specs like in relation to the Gen 1?

I think of these, the CHP70.3 (i'm going to insist on calling it a Gen 3, as the EL70 was the 1st Gen 2), as evolved from a cross between the CHP70 and the EL70. And now with both cone colours.
CHP70.3 BW is going to be very interesting too. dave

Personally I prefer the natural / buff coloured cone.
+2 on the Gen.3 nomenclature, to reflect the overall design level rather than the numeric generation of the drive unit itself. |

Hi Chaps,
See yur point but being fair to Bob (CSS), I did do things differently on the EL-70 so the driver labels on the new CHP will say "Gen 2". Hi Chris, Ummmmmmmmph......can't blame me tooo much for a little bit of carrot dangling. Just luvvvvvv to tweeeeek drivers sooooo much. Cheers Mark. dashing between 2 assembly lines. Car picking me up soon to to on to next line at another factory - buzzzzzzy Last edited by markaudio; 26th May 2011 at 08:05 AM. |

What does the motor look like? (not visually, design-wise)

What exactly are the design differences, bith technical and practical between the two drivers? I've readvery little wbout the CHP other than it is available for overseas only.
