Hi Guys,
I'd like to introduce Dan Archer in Australia. He's our dealer down-under. I've always promised to drop in but never made it to Launceston Tasmania until last week. Dan lives on the outskirts of Launceston, situated in North of Tasmania, its a most beautiful part of the world. Dan made us very welcome. He's very much an experimenter, the front room looks like a studio with several different systems in view. Sadly we only had a few hours to spend in Dan's company so we chatted at break-neck speed on just about everything DIY. Significantly, for next year Dan hopes to have his new workshop fully operational so he can operate a cabinet kit and complete build service. This maybe of interest to Australian and NZ DIYers so feel free to contact him. Mark Audio : Darcher Audio Contact Us : Darcher Audio Cheers Mark. Was very good of you to drop in. No doubt was a good chat and looking forward to a big 2011.
In regards to plans for 2011, hoping to get a workshop back up and running and offering both fully built loudspeakers and kits. Will be offering quite a few utilising the Mark Audio range of drivers. If anyone else wants anymore info in regards to that, by all means get in touch.

i'm very interested in some tassie blackwood or sasafrass front panels (solid) and veneer for the rest of a cabinet for a smallish 2 way based on scanspeak 21W-8554 (tweater undecided) digi XO. so may be interested in a full box kit (no electronics or connectors) using tassie timbers, I have balanced Denon D2000 woodies (headphones) using tassie blackwood that sound great and look even better. and am looking at using tassie timbers for the panel of my mixed media Dac chassis.
anyway hows status on this stuff? can email me at qusp (at) optusnet (spot) com (spot) au |
