Thanks for clarifying. I'm not meaning to offend, but your replies seem to be a little terse.
Are you able to share any of the results for the Pensil series enclosures? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would find the data informative. |

We've not built a set of Pensils.
The format of the current data is not very sharable, You'll have to come by. You bring the Ozzie beer. dave

Now if you were just down the road I'd definitely take you up on that. In fact I have an Ozzie beer in the fridge, but NZ beer is infinitely better!

I'll stick to my Hobgoblin...
![]() There is plenty of data you can search on acoustical properties of different woods; there's no lack of it. Being a natural & variable product however, you can only really take it as very general indications. |

I'm trying to expand my knowledge here, and its directly related to a build of cabinets you designed for the Alpair 7. So far I've only got reluctant interaction from you guys. I was about to add this link to the discussion as it adds the sort of data I'm interested in...
Lowering Mechanical Noise Floor in Speakers Pt 2 — Reviews and News from Audioholics Do you guys really have no spectrum data like this? By all means spin this off into a separate thread, but I hope it might develop and add understanding that will enable the maximum to be extracted from Mark's Alpair drivers, and the cabinets designed for us to use with them.
