Today, I worked on some plumbing. The first time I finished soldering the pipes and letting them cool, I forgot to close the valve before reopening the main valve. When I went to open the main valve, I heard lots of water running, so I thought there was a very big leak. And there was - the valve that I forgot to close after soldering! I had to fix some smaller leaks and now I'm letting it pressure test. (And yes, I have made the same mistake before. I left a newly installed faucet open so I mistook it for a leak!)
Does anyone else have an "Oops! I did it again" story to share? (For your reference, "Oops! I did it again" was one of the background music tracks in an unofficial patch for Descent 2. It was one of the best songs and I think it should be included with (or at least usable with) D2X-XL, but that's for another thread...) |
