Default Battlestar Galactica

Well, I just finished watching the cliff-hanger last episode of series one. What a brilliant series. I'm speechless.

p.s. No spoilers please!

Are you just getting them now across the big pond?

Yup, great series, who knew great acting and sci-fi could be intertwined? Although, as far as I'm concerned, Shatner's still the man

Is this the Lorne Greene version?

Until he and Shatner came along, who knew that you had to be a Canadian Jew to run a starship?

Lorne Green Canadian? Really?

It's a new "re-imagined" version, very, very dark. I think the subscription satellite chanels are just finishing showing series 2 over here, but it's only just got onto freeview.

Hey, I'll try and not take that personal.

Actually its pretty good. Edit- its not a remake its a complete "reimagining" meaning the characters are all different and have different roles and positions; the plot is not quite the same though its close. There is also a series "Caprica" in the works about the resistance on Caprica to the Cylon occupation.

You can rent Bstar on netflix and blockbuster online too. Weird that you would rent tv shows, but I'm just finishing up The Sopranos....all the way to season 4 now.

It will certainly miss the best feature of the original- Anne Lockhart in those tight white jeans.

I do rememeber the shapely Miss Lockhart quite vividly, but I'll still take Tricia Helfer in a red dress anyday....and she's a Canadian too

I must admit, I thought had fallen asleep and was dreaming when I saw a dozen or so Grace Parks wandering around naked in that episode.
