Makes sense.... work "with" the system... never thought of that, it's not my way

I hate it, but it makes sense.

Sure,

Don't lose your fire... be thoughtful about where you direct it.

I survive as a "little guy" because I enable my clients to profit by my inventions. I supervise the manufacturing and also come up with the next "rev". Never play all your cards in one shot... always keep an ace up your sleeve. I think most inventors come off as dis-ablers (stumbling blocks), hence the way they are treated. Greed begets greed... service begets $$.

HAW HAW! Knee slapper, that one.

One of my favorites is the delusion by an inventor (been there myself, in ways. ) that the things they invent or create, while in the employ or pay of a given company..somehow belong to them, not the company that paid their wage. Then they rail that they've been ripped off. I guess they've never looked at how the law treats such things...hhhmmm?

... I really gotta read up on that one! I only vaguely remember the "guy who jumped out the window" thing.

Perhaps that one was not very well recieved. Drifting off topic maybe. Not well centered. Too much sideband, there, maybe. Carrier dropped the ball?

Guess I really couldn't have picked a worse example... must be a subliminal urge for comedy... or failure.

Worse part is the wife got the payout... and he probably wouldn't have jumped unless he hated her!

Default Good stuff and bad

Wow. A lot of DIYers know a lot about patents, much more than the common person or even the common general practice attorney. I am very impressed.

However, there are some issues I see here and without going through all these posts with a huge write-up, I can see a few misconceptions.

If any of you are serious about patent issues, please email me offline. I'm probably the guy you want to talk to.
