Default Air France A-340 crash at Pearson

I can't ever remember smiling at the report of an air crash but when everybody survives and the only tears are those of joy, I can't help it.

I heard about the crash this morning. People sure got lucky. Proves again the tremendous responsibility of a pilot.

I've just heard on the news that the co-pilot went back to the plane when the fire had already started and he walked from top to bottom in order to make sure that everybody was rescued, even though he was injured. They also said that the doors of the plane were already opened and almost everyting was ready to start evacuating people before the plane had actually stopped moving.

I think that such a crew had a lot to do with the absence of fatalities.
