I once asked a [ethical choice rather than dietary ] vegetarian whether he would eat meat if it did not require the slaughter
of an animal.
Assuming the meat culture was produced by suitably 'healthy' means.

He said he would.

Not for me, I'm afraid.

But then after 15+ years as a veggie, just the smell of meat makes me feel ill...
