i have only recently noticed that circuits that i have made in real life seem to turn up multiple errors in EWB, for example my PWM transformerless 10 amp 12V power supply, which i have used dozens of times to run automotive stuff directly from the 120volt mains of my house, it won't let me piece together without some error or trying to fix it itself..

SPICE (in general) usually develops problems converging to a usefull solution with most switching circuits....
Try SIMetrix/SIMPLIS....Probably the best commercial package for this sort of work: http://www.catena.uk.com/ |
