One picture I did not quite understand, though. That was the rooftop picture where the binoculars, (with a sign for 30 p) was located next to a gun with a sight on top, (with a sign for $30,000).

Was the joke that you get to look at something for 30 pence, (cents?), but get to blow it away for $30,000?

Kind of dark humor. Is there a lot of violence in Kiev right now?

about gun picture - it means, you can USE binoculars for price 30rur ($1), or USE mashingun - about $30000. yep. it's dark humor, but not from Ukraine... it's Russia. it's not the same but be sure it's just a joke.
