This machine is 1965's to see the serial number,each machine had one's own and only serial number. While getting,have already gone through 39 years.it is sealed to use paraffin wax and silk. . . The structure which is similar to the mummy is sealed. Very new when opening and seeing,looks like a couple of strange beasts of circuit and gear wheel.Can still use. I like the old British receiver very much too |

From the view inside, it looks like a 3 band superhetrodyne receiver with 1 RF stage. Presumably it needs a separate Power Pack to work.

thank you dhaen, are you a collection fans too? yes,the receiver has 3 band from 1.2MHZ to 16MHZ.it is use special tubes.I have diy a separate psu for these machine.

Hi Digi,
No I'm not a collector, but I do enjoy seeing these old "works of art". When I was younger (in the 60's & 70's) there were lots around, and I remember seeing the Collins that you admire. There are far fewer now. Enjoy |
