Because we where the main producers in earth one or one an half century ago that made it a part of our culture.
We are educated to serve Coffee when someone enter our house.
The main remember i have from my losted mother is the kind way she always wake up me and invited me to be together, to have a Coffee.
We do not make the breakfast alike our main culture, The american one is our reference here, because movies and all factories inside our territory, but we do not eat early morning alike them daved, they normally eat a lot in the morning, because main moment to have food in the day, here we have french brad, hot milk with coffee an suggar "because we were big producers to the world too", also butter that always were cheap here, good land to have animals and plants, if a piece of....hummmm that forbiden word...bull ---- fall into ground, we gonna have a three that will grow up alone, without needing your care.
Rains all the year, temperature stable all the year, small differences in weather related the stations, more wind differences than really temperature...more rain differences than temperature too.... so, the Coffee, always good and cheap here... the break here is not break fast.... is the coffee break, more cultural meeting than a real brake, to bring people to be together, to talk, in this moment the highest degree director goes together the less instructed guy sitting aside and talk general things, from football to pretty girls from down floor.... without loose respect.... going out of this place we treat our comanders us Mr director, may i enter to talk.... and we have to ask secretary first... and we do not sit if he not invite us to sit down...do you understand the coffee value for us.

The most beloved people we have here, the happy part of our culture are the Italians.... they came in thousands to substitute the slaves that receive freedom by Our Majesty those times, one woman, a princess sign their freedom without figth.... we take our decisions with some intelligence, not figthing.....no war to freedom!......Coffee plantation was on troubles dave, they loose all workers instantaneously.... not war... they invite Italians, with problems those days in Italy, to came to work here.... they worked hard, and made pression, in a peace way, they marriage all the Farmers daugthers and they transform the domination this way, they gonne to employees to owners, and some of them ask some small part of land to them.... this place was their base to evolute....now this wonderfull people is our brothers in blood, my Grandmother came from Firenze, Italy, alike milions of Brazilians, we are mixed with Italians, our food, our happyness and our noisy characteristics came from that strong loved people that honor us to came here and be one of us... they was the main Coffee producers together our Brazilian/Portuguese people......not only Brazilian/Portuguese, but in reality, Brazilian/Portuguese,African/Native Indians/Holland/French/Spanish/German/Japanese/Korean/Chinese/Polland/Russian and some Scandinavian Enginneers to construct rail way and turn their mind crazy for the indian girls.... hundreds stayed here, kicked their wives and stay with indians... they are really pretty when young.
Those people, in this proportion, and Arabic together Jewish people also are our people too.... those are the best friends related all those people.....Jewish and Arabic like to live same place..... one example to all mankind.
My country is, no doubts, a mass, but is also one example of brotherhood in earth...no war to rights...no fight... with some intelligence we make pression right place, and sometime we call enemies to our side, this way...no more enemies.

That plant you have pictured looks suspiciously like a Brugmansia, (sometimes mistaken for a Datura)
