After reading over this thread Atomic bombs and decibels. and hearing about sadams bunkers that even our best bombs where rumored to be inefective on, wouldnt a deep sound wave travel right through all that cement? If its tuned to the resonance frequency of the human skull, you would never need to blow it up. Maby we could have a carbon fiber Jet with a line array of very peaky parthenons facing downward that we would fly overhead (unmaned aerial vehicle) and decimate them with deadly sound waves. the only problem, even with it being made of carbon fiber, is that theres always a chance the ship would rattle itself apart. I'm sure with all the various loudspeaker types we have (horn, TL, ML, etc etc etc) It would be fairly doable to create something that has a huge single peak at the right frequency.
Also, has anyone been able to figure out anything more about this

and that is about 15 years afo, I read a paper on a sound bomb, if my memory still serves me, it had something to do with neutrons.

Besides so called smart wepons are of no stategic value what so ever, they just look good blowing up empty buildings or the boggie man on t.v, after all if they if they did do any thing usefull, why the tanks, guns and B52's carpit bombing with cluster bombs?

I remember reading about weapons the Germans scientists
developed but were not taken seriously by the German military.

One of them allegedly was :

well if we played anti war songs through it instead of sin waves, wouldnt that make it ok? (that was not serious...) anyway, wouldnt you think that children and women would have a completely different resonance frequency in their chest/skull than men in the military. I'm assuming this bc men are generally larger than women and children. So even if a future despot chooses to build his military structures right next to a school (which seems to be the cool trend now a days over there) the innocent women/children would be less likely to be hurt than with even our most advanced smart bombs.

Maby you could explain to me what "military structures" those would be?

Raido stations?
T.V stations?
Public service buildings?
Water pumps?
Power stations?
Sub stations?

It must only be a remarkable coincidence that taking out these so called "military structures" is exactly how you ley siege to a city.

Did you know that Bagdad is a city?

Remember shock and owe? and when bush said the war might last longer than expected once you got to the outskirts Bagdad? this is called a siege (you might need to look a bit further than your T.V to find out what that is and how it works)
Lucky for the people of Bagdad (realitivly speaking) it wasn't needed because as it turns out there was only one side fighting this war, unless you count the EVEL DO'ERS that took off there uniforms, put on civilian clothes and got shot because the looked like suicide bombers
