Default What brands are consider high end tube amps?

I am not familiar with the brands of high end tube power amps in the market. The names I know are Cary, Conrad Johnson only. I know Jolida is middle of the road. That's it!!! i want to know some other brands and if you can, point me to some of the schematics.

Thanks

Perhaps it's a question better asked in forums that are oriented toward commercial appliances rather than diy.

I would say high end is at least $2000USD for two channel power amp.

How much if it's in working condition?

Well, I rather ask the question in technical forum. Ultimately, I want to build one. I want the name so I can look for the schematic to study and incorporate into my build. I am planning to spend around $500 for a pair of OT and hopefully a little over $1000 total for the parts to build one. Therefore I am looking at amps $2000 on up.

What makes you think these companies give schematics away? These are trade secrets. They don't even give them to their customers. All you can find is schematics from the early 80's at most , that happened to have leaked. Some times they surface in here.

You're asking a marketing question in a technical forum. Go look at this and think hard about trying to bring market positioning into the picture.

If you want to build a good tube amp, read some decent texts rather than starting down a futile path of trying to paste together a design based on poorly engineered (but expensive) products. I'd start with Morgan Jones's "Valve Amplifiers."

That's why I want to know some names to start searching. I thought power amp are usually quite simple, people might just copy and post the schematic.
