The XYL has a lot of "legacy" equipment in the molecular bio area which still has floppy disk drives -- so this is a two prong question.
Firstly, probably cheapest, among the 3.5" floppy adapters which take SD and other memory, and slip into the device like a floppy, which would you recommend.
Secondly, requiring a screwdriver, if one were to perform surgery on a legacy device, which removable semiconductor memory device would you recommend to replace the floppy drive with removable RAM.
I don't plan to take apart my Tektronix scope which uses floppies, or my SR785, but answers to question 1 would help me as well.
