Default "John Curl's Blowtorch preamplifier" 3D

I was trying to follow, for what little i can understand, the following 3D

John Curl's Blowtorch preamplifier part II

I wonder which are the reasons of this exceptional interest
Is a kit of this preamp available ? (this is a joke )
No seriously, is this unit a masterpiece of audio technology ?
By the way the 3D is almost impossible to follow because not all the comments seem to be pertinent i think.
Thanks a lot and kind regards,

Unless you are a real hi end audiophile or an audio engineer, this thread is NOT for you.
This thread started about an expensive preamplifier and how it was made, but it 'evolved' to a general discussion of audio design practice, which is VERY controversial. This is why the thread is so long.

Thank you very much for your kind reply.
Actually that was indeed my sensation, about the evolution i mean.
Maybe a "General audio discussion" section would be needed.
The risk of a huge and disorienting OT is real.
Kind regards,

Thanks, Gino & Mr. Curl for asking & answering a question I'm sure others have faced. I've made several passes at that discussion always to bog down. Now, a kit would be just the ticket.
