Machines as in production/industry, a bit difficult to install apps on a PLS. But for IT I mostly agree.

And about Lenovo, cannot say they are bad, not worse than others. It's all a hunt for money, quantity wins over quality these days, just how it is. If I want a decent keyboard I'd probably get a QPAD MK-85 or similar. The Razer Blackwidow looks good, but I am not entirely certain what switches they use. Tesoro Durandal can be had with a choice of switches and seem reasonably priced. QPAD MK-50 Is probably ok.
