Right now when I'm writing this the Concorde has landed at Heathrow for the last time.

Mmmm, some might take a different view. A very expensive, uneconomic boondoggle, financed by taxpayers to benefit the plutocracy. The governments involved have STILL not come clean on how much Monsieur et Madame Ordinaire had to pony up to help the ultrawealthy save a few hours.

Something like $9K. I saw the news story on the last flight- pretty sad, a B-list of celebrities. Christie Brinkley, Joan Collins...

Probably, unfortunately they wont spend it on third-world countries, now that they can't fly Concorde anymore.
